Keepin’ It Country Line Dancing Club (KIC) have made a donation to the Country 105 ‘Caring For KIDS’ Radiothon (Feb 7th to 9th) in the amount of $1,000. This donation will contribute towards making a meaningful difference in the lives of children and their families who rely on leading-edge research, equipment and care at the Alberta Children’s Hospital.
Every year our Club run by volunteers makes a variety of donations to our Veterans either through a Christmas Stocking, canned goods and/or a cash donation. So this year we’re excited to help make a difference with our donation to ‘Caring for KIDS’. We couldn’t do it without our registered members so a BIG thank you to each and every one of you. THANK YOU!
The Christmas music was lively, the dancing was energetic and the smiles & the laughter ended off our Fall session with a night of fun! Thanks to all of our members who came out along with many family members and guests. Donations of stockings, cash/cheques & canned/boxed food was generously contributed to our Veterans. Happy Holidays everyone and we'll be back on the dance floor January 10, 2018!

Wasn't that a Party! What a great turnout and a fun evening watching everyone including guests enjoy themselves at the KIC Hallowe’en dance Wednesday night. And the costumes??? It’s almost scary knowing what’s hidden away in some of our closets. Way to get into the spirit of Hallowe’en! Also the mix of Hallowe’en and regular music that Wendy provided us with kept most people on the dance floor all night which was our goal.Spooktacular Hallowe'en Dance
Pre-registration starts August 29th for newcomers. Please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org. For additional information, check out our 'Let's Dance' page.
Once again our KIC Club enjoyed many performances, pancake breakfasts, festivals and private teaching events held during Stampede. For the first time we enjoyed dancing in the new International YYC Arrivals while welcoming newcomers and visitors to Calgary. And of course we entertained many residents and their families in a variety of Care Centers all over Calgary. Helping Canada celebrate their 150th Anniversary by choosing to dance to some of our very own Canadian Artists was appreciated by many this Stampede. The ‘boots’ had a good work out and it’s only two months until we get revved up again.
The June Stampede Tune-Up classes came to an end last week, just in time for the Calgary Stampede! Our graduates earned a repertoire of 6 classic line dance classes over the four week period. See you on the Pancake Breakfast dance floors or at Nashville North!
